What I am learning this week is that there is so much technology to use that I am not sure how to harness it all to make it work for me. I see that I need to pick and choose so I don’t spend so much time sifting.
This week I was introduced to the great function of the Google Calendar. I love this! I think this would be great as a teacher to be able to share with different classes, especially for parents. I see using this to put assignments, holidays, and birthdays. I liked that the calendar had options to add such as the BYU football schedule. I was thinking that by adding events such as this it would create a class theme and interest.
I think Google Docs is cool but I really prefer working face to face. I think it is a great tool to collaborate since I like to be home around my family. This week I was working on the digital story and I am excited but scared. I like doing the research but anything more than a Power Point Presentation really puts me out of my comfort zone.
