What……This week we are learning more about digital stories. I think it was harder to develop a digital story knowing more about copyright laws.

So What…..Well last week in class I decided to change the theme of my digital story since looking through all of the information. I was able to find a new subject that I was actually excited about and had pictures that I could use. I know that the skills to produce a digital story are important but why do it if it is not exciting, informative or emotional. I think that if more teachers tried then they might use technology more.

Now What….. I think it is important to teach students about copyright since from what I have observed most students think it is only sharing. I know that I need to change my way of thinking that if it is on the internet then it is fair game. As a teacher I see using technology with my students and adding on or revising through the years. For me it seems intimidating to produce so much but if I can produce small projects and add on then it does not seem so overwhelming.
