Internet Awareness

This week I worked on sites and articles about Internet safety. As a mother of three boys I am always looking for the newest ways that others are prying on children and the different software programs that can protect them. I think that technology safety is so much harder since a child can be in their room and be texting on their cell phone, gaming live and be on Facebook. I think the hard part for children of all ages is that they think nothing bad will happen to them. Students today hear about Internet safety but I am not sure how to help them understand that it is the same as not locking the door. I love the Internet but it is the same as playing at the park.
