Kidspiration

I had a great time with the Kidspiration project. I liked the project since it was hands on without any writing and using lots of pictures. I can see how the pictures would be attention getting for any student. A student might not have an interest in the main subject but if there is a picture that catches the student’s eye they may then become interested in the subject. I see this software as a great way for students to explore new subjects especially historical figures that might seem boring. The historical figures can come to life when the student sees the graphics and a small amount of text. I really liked being able to link to other websites using the Kidspiration software. On mine I linked the picture of John Hancock’s signature to a PBS website that tells the story about him.

  1. I also think Kidspiration is a great teaching and learning tool. Most students are very visual learners.
